Blending Traditions: The Journey of Boundary Waters Coffee at Joynes Ben Franklin Welcome to our new website! Whether you’ve been savoring Boundary Waters Coffee since its start over 30 years ago at White Pine North, or you’ve recently discovered our tasty flavors and amazing blends at the Ben Franklin in Grand Marais, you’re enjoying the same great coffee cherished by generations. We’re Tyler and Jessica Dean, and it’s our pleasure to maintain this tradition of excellence.
On January 1, 2020, we acquired White Pine North, known for its unique gifts and beloved Boundary Waters Coffee. Despite a challenging fire on April 13, 2020, we were determined to preserve the legacy. After purchasing Joynes Ben Franklin on January 1, 2022, we've blended the heritage of both locations, continuing to offer Boundary Waters Coffee alongside a curated selection of the best-selling products from White Pine North. This storied venue has served the community since 1941, and we are honored to uphold its historic value while introducing new traditions.
